Due to ongoing staff shortages, Gratwick Aquatic Centre’s opening hours will be changing on Wednesday, March 19 to facilitate more consistent operations during peak periods.
Gratwick Aquatic Centre’s new hours will be:
Monday-Friday:
- 5:00am-9:00am
- 3:00pm-7:00pm
Saturday-Sunday:
Existing bookings will not be affected by this change, and we encourage the use of the facilities at South Hedland Aquatic Centre when Gratwick Aquatic Centre is not accessible.
We’re currently in the process of getting more personnel on board, and will reassess Gratwick’s opening times in a few weeks based on staffing availability and pool utilisation patterns.
As always, the safety and security of our patrons is our primary concern, and minimum staffing levels must be maintained to safely operate our facilities.
